A high-level Chinese business delegation in the country following up on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with the Zimbabwean government in April this year, has reaffirmed their commitment to fulfill the promised project.

With President Emmerson Mnangagwa's delegation visiting the province during a state visit to Asia in April this year, a high-level delegation from the province led by Deputy Governor Zhou, has returned the visit and has been in the country since Monday. .
Accompanied by a Charge d’Affaires at the Chinese Embassy, Zhao Baogang, Zhou, and several business executives from the province, paid a courtesy call to President Mnangagwa at Munhumutapa's office where they reaffirmed their commitment to fulfill the project and the promised MOU.
The province has expressed interest in investing in agriculture and processing, information technology, architecture and infrastructure, and during their visit, delegates toured several projects in Mashonal and Western Provinces.
While the delegation also met and held talks with the private sector and government ministries, the aim was to see what Zimbabwe had to offer and how the opportunities available could be fully utilized.
