Luisa Ortega Díaz, attorney general in exile, declined on Tuesday the Supreme Court's decision to give the president of the Carabobo University Student Federation to the candidate, Jessica Bello Barreto.

The prosecutor indicated that the act ratified the thesis that the government made the institutions in Venezuela hostage.

"This action against Carabobo University ratified that tyranny continues to host institutions to impose their misdeeds and continue to overrun Venezuela," Ortega published via Twitter.

The prosecutor also urged students to organize themselves so as not to accept what they described as criminal decisions that violated their rights.

"Students must arrange themselves not to accept these criminal decisions that violate their rights," he added.
