(WTNH) – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that three people in Connecticut have been infected with a strain of the Salmonella Reading outbreak.
According to the CDC, raw turkey products make people sick.
On November 5, 164 people were infected with the strain of infection. Of these, 63 people were hospitalized and one died in California. In New York, there are at least 12 reported cases.
The CDC said strains were identified in samples taken from raw turkey food, raw turkey products and live turkeys.
