Before his death in the fall, Mac Miller recorded two songs for a Spotify Singles mini-EP. The session was released today, so you can listen to the two songs below. Miller played a stripped version of "Dunno" from his last album, Swimming, and the cover of Billy Preston's single in 1974, "Nothing From Nothing." Both of these songs are heartbreaking, and, in a vacuum, this new version of "Dunno" improves the original by keeping things simple and only relying on Miller's voice (often underestimated). The cover of Preston, who was both left and less than two minutes away, was inspired.
