Google does not have a single one, but two large navigation applications, including Google Maps, which were developed from the ground up, and Waze, were purchased a few years ago. And it looks like Google wants to bring some of these features to Google Maps.
Google is currently testing a feature that will allow users to report crashes and speed traps, Android Police report.
Support for incident reports on Google Maps was first discovered months ago, but this feature is actually in testing for some Google Maps users now, as seen in the following screenshot.
A new report button will appear at the bottom of the screen, at which point you will be able to tell Google whether you have an accident or speed trap. The feature only works in navigation mode, something that the Redditor can confirm, calling the feature "useless:"

This feature is still under testing, and no one knows when it will make it for all Google Maps users out there. If you often drive and can use more direct updates about what's happening around you, then Waze might be a much better solution than Maps.
