Less than two weeks after the last iOS 13 update, Apple returned with other minor changes, this time raising the version number to iOS 13.2.3. iOS 13.2 is the latest major update, when it added support for Deep Fusion and AirPods Pro photography last month. This one provides iPad and iPhone repairs that are intended to solve problems with the default Mail, File and Notes application, as well as issues that can stop apps from downloading information in the background – Apple didn't mention any fixes for security issues.
iOS 13.2.3 includes bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone. This update:
- Fixed an issue where system searches and searches in Mail, Files, and Notes might not work
- Solve problems where photos, links, and other attachments might not be displayed in Message details view
- Fixed an issue that could prevent apps from downloading content in the background
- Resolved an issue that could prevent Mail from retrieving new messages, and failed to enter and quote the contents of the original message in the Exchange account
It seems that there is nothing urgent like the last update that solves some big multitasking headaches, but you might want to install it sooner rather than later to avoid losing messages.
