Whether you like it or not, Mario Kart Wii still the best-selling entry in the series to date. As a result, he gained many followers – even after more recent successes Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
With this in mind, three new "ultra shortcuts" were recently found in the Wii title within 24 hours. Before July 11, there appeared to be only 18 shortcuts known in 2008 kart racers. For the uninformed, the ultra shortcuts are basically glitches – allowing players to skip more than half a lap on any track.
Mario Kart YouTuber Flamin Funky shares and explains these three newly discovered shortcuts in detailed videos (see below) found in tool-assisted quick turns (abbreviated as TAS).
The first occurred at the N64 Bowser Castle and was discovered by MKW Luke speedrunner. The second is located at GBA Shy Guy Beach and was discovered by a player named Catfish, and the third is contained in Cape Koopa and was discovered by BlazeMSX. A shortcut on Bowser's Castle and Koopa Cape should be done at TAS. Look below:
