European Parliament President Antonio Tajani said he expects Ukraine as part of the European Union. This was announced by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Andrei Paruby, reporting "RBC-Ukraine"
"Today we also met with the President of the European Parliament. In fact, the topic of our decision yesterday and the introduction of martial law were the main topics. Actually, our European partners need to explain all the details. I can say that they fully welcomed our decision," Parubiy said.
At the same time, he noted that the next steps in cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union were discussed in Brussels.
"The decision on the appointment of the presidential election eliminates the fear of propaganda originating from the Russian Federation. We are talking about the next step of our collaboration. It is important that the President of the European Parliament concludes that we are waiting for you in the European Union," concluded Paruby.
