Bundesliga leaders Dortmund must accept a deserved defeat after an angry 4-0 home victory in the second leg at Atletico Madrid. Although BVB initially controlled the match, the home side scored after more than half an hour: Saúl Ñíguez fired from ten yards after a double pass with Filipe Luis, but Manuel Akanji was able to reach the ball but failed to clear (33 minutes).

As a result, Madrid came to another good opportunity, but missed it for a long time, nachzulegen more goals.
