SINGAPORE – Pokemon fans can look forward to catching Pikachu in action next month at Pikachu Night Parade as part of the Sentosa & # 39; s Island Lights event.

The first Pikachu Night Parade, the first outside of Japan, will feature nine human-sized Pikachu lit with lights as they line up and dance to music on the 100m route in Palawan Beach, said Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) in a statement on Wednesday (14 November).

Visitors will be able to line the Palawan Beach Walk to watch the spectacle. The parade will pass Palawan Kidz City and the attractions of the Palawan Pirate Ship, which will be decorated with other Pokemon favorites such as Eevee.

The parade will take place from 19.30 on December 14-16 and December 21-23. Island Lights, which features an art installation and was previously known as Pop Up Night, will run from 7pm on Friday, to December 31st.

Other highlights at the event included installations such as the ASMR (Meridian Autonomous Sensor) Wonderland, an interactive multi-sensor exhibition by local artist Yang, and Sam Lo's Betelgeuse Supernova, which featured structures that challenged logic designed with reflective surfaces.

They are among the 10 eclectic installations that will be on Palawan Beach.

Ms Lynette Ang, chief marketing officer for SDC, said: "By taking advantage of the landscape in Palawan Beach, Island Lights will be a great addition to a variety of night choices on our island, from dining options to places like Palawan Pirates keep open after 6pm. "
