The TV program began the career of Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, and British actor Ed Westwick.

Kristen Bell recounts the episode and she continues to star in the film Frozen and becomes a comedy for The Good Place.

According to the manufacturer, rebooting will discuss "how much social media – and the New York landscape itself – has changed" in the past decade.

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage joined as executive producer while producer Joshua Safran will write the script.

HBO Max will be launched early 2020.

The original program on streaming services included director Denis Villeneuve's Dune: The Sisterhood; Love Life, a 10-episode rom-com anthology series starring Anna Kendrick and a new animated series based on the film Gremlins.

Gossip Girl was originally based on a novel of the same name by writer Cecily von Ziegesar in 2002 to 2011. – / TISG
