According to the Institute of Public Health "Dr. Milan Jovanovic Batut", the coverage of MMR vaccination in 2017 in Serbia was 85.2 percent, and revaccination was 91.6. – The solution to this problem is in vaccination and we should not consider whether the number of patients in the period before us will be smaller, but we must focus on eradicating it. And we can't do this until 95 percent of pre-school children are vaccinated! Epidemics always move from them, because the rest of the population has been protected by incomplete immunization or this disease has been experienced. Space for epidemic development precisely because some parents still refuse to vaccinate their children. Of course, immunization coverage is now far greater than the same period last year, but it is still not enough to be cheerful when morbile worried. However, the fact that the number of immunized vaccines is increasing day by day is very encouraging, and therefore optimism that the number of patients suffering this year will be much lower than last year. – Radovanovic shows.

– The fact is that more and more parents are vaccinating their children, and therefore we hope that the epidemic must be smaller than last year. And we also hope that they will not die of this disease, like in the last 12 months – he said.
