Turkish artist Hossein Diba painted the main characters of GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas and GTA IV. According to him, that will be how they will look on next-generation consoles if these games are released in 2020.
When GTA: Vice City came out, I was a kid. I couldn’t afford a PS2 at the time, so I went to a gaming club and just watched people play it. I remember this feeling, what a miracle! – said Diba in the caption of Tommy Vercetti’s photo.
Under the portrait of Karl Johnson from GTA: San Andreas, Hossein Diba notes that while creating it, he took a new approach to make the hero look more realistic:
It’s one of the most challenging projects I’ve worked on, but I love how Karl turned out, so I’ll be sure to update Tommy to make it look realistic.
Hossein Deeb’s latest work to date is a drawing of Niko Bellic from GTA IV:
This is the first GTA game to be released for the PS3 and it’s great to see all the graphics and game improvements at that time! And that’s how I think Niko will look on the next generation consoles.
