Mitsubishi announced the launch of the world premiere of the new L200 pickup truck in Bangkok, Thailand. This vehicle will be launched in other ASEAN markets as well as in Oceania, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Latin America. This model will be available in around 150 countries around the world.
The new L200 is the latest version of the model that celebrates this year 40 years since it was launched and produced at the Laem Chabang factory operated by Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Co. Ltd. (MMTh).
Among the elements that make it significantly more competitive include: a stronger style combining the latest interpretations of the front design concept of Dynamic Shield; an enhanced 4WD system that provides better off-road performance and safety technology and the latest active driver assistance system. Overall, the new model presents a significant increase in durability and reliability needed by commercial users and user-specific comfort.
The restored L200's interior reveals a modern and strong feeling with contours for the control panel and air vent. High-quality images made with soft material and stitching console floors, arm chairs and parking brake area.
The new L200 4WD model features the Super-Select 4WD, which provides optimal traction and handling characteristics for each surface, or Easy-Select 4WD, which simplifies the transition from one mode to another for different surface areas. With the addition of new driving modes, both 4WD systems provide improved off-road performance.
