Take-Two Interactive has revealed in his latest financial report that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a real giant.
An extraordinary giant that in less than two weeks has sold more than 17 million units worldwide.
Tell us that Red Dead Redemption 2 has become the best debut in entertainment history until the weekend, only losing to Grand Theft Auto 5, but now we have impressive sales figures.
The enthusiasm around Red Dead Redemption 2 is such that in two weeks it has managed to sell more units than the first Red Dead Redemption.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, said that because of this extraordinary performance, estimated profits had increased.
"As a result of our strong second quarter performance and the extraordinary initial results of Red Dead Redemption 2, we are increasing our financial estimates for fiscal 2019," Zelnick said.
Red Dead Redemption 2 hit stores on October 26 and promised to be one of the most desirable games on Black Friday and Christmas, which only helped to further increase sales.
Currently available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the Rockstar Games game may also continue to be sold in the long run, especially if the PC version is finally announced.
