According to the Guam Consulate of the Philippines, which has jurisdiction over the Saipan, Rota and Tinian Commonwealth, consular teams have been sent to the affected areas to reach the Filipino communities.

"The Guam Consulate General of the Philippines will prepare the troops for the island of Tinian and Rota to help about 800 Filipinos who have been killed by a typhoon, and now has a team in Saipan who provides financial support to the Filipino victims of Tundra," said General Marciano De Borja for journalists on weekends.

Two deaths and more than 120 injured were attributed to the huge typhoon, which reached the islands on October 24th.

Alex Vallespin, Vice President and Citizen Support (ATN), Juliet Simbul, led the distribution of relief to at least 600 Filipinos, including temporary shelters after their typhoon destroyed or damaged their homes.

But Borja also thanked the authorities of Saipan for helping the members of the Philippine community.

Due to the infrastructure, thousands of tourists fleeing the typhoon, mainly through South Korea and China, military aircraft sent by governments or commercial flights to Saipan later on the islands, fleeing the islands.

During the days following the devastation in the northern Mariana Islands, Yutu or Rosita also deceived the northern part of the Philippines on October 30, Tuesday, causing the death of at least 13 people due to landslide.
