Previously thanks to the leaked image, it turned out that DJI had a new product called Saku Osmo DJI in the work. For those who might be interested in the idea of a small, potentially borrowed, Osmo gimbal version, you will be pleased to know that the DJI has since officially taken the cover.
If you are not familiar with DJI's Osmo line, this is a handheld gimbal that comes with built-in stabilizer technology. This means that when you walk, dreadlocks will try to correct themselves to maintain their position which will reduce much weaker video recordings. The Osmo Pocket does more or less the same thing, except that it is smaller than ordinary Osmo and Osmo Mobile.
This will feature a 1 / 2.3-inch 12MP sensor that will be able to record 4K video at 60fps. The size is 4 inches high which means that if you can pair your cellphone into your pocket, this shouldn't be a big problem either. It also has 3-axis stabilization, which is good news considering the previous leak suggested 2-axis stabilization.
There will also be a built-in touch screen on the gimbal handle that allows you to interact with the device, and will also come with various shooting modes. There is even a universal port that will work with many accessories, including a plug that you can use to attach a smartphone to if you want to use it as a display. The DJI Osmo pocket is priced at $ 349 and is currently available for pre-order.
