Johnny Galecki of Big Bang Theory and his model girlfriend reportedly broke up after two years together.

Galecki and model Alaina Meyer have been together for two years.

The actor, 45, and Meyer, 23, have a son with Avery, who was born in December last year.

A source told People that the two have broken up and are now parents together. They have not commented.

The couple, who regularly post photos of each other on Instagram, have not appeared in a group photo since April.

They announced their relationship in September 2018 after walking the red carpet on E! People’s Choice Awards.

Galecki, who has a reported net worth of US $ 100 million ($ 136 million), announced in May 2019 that she is expecting her first child with Meyer, a model from San Diego.

It is not known how the couple met.

Galecki famously was in a relationship with Big Bang Theory co-star Kaley Cuoco for two years during the filming of the show, before they split in 2010.

Speaking on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast last month, Cuoco said he was “really excited” at Galecki when they first met.

“We dated at the start of the show for almost two years. When we were doing pilots and I was very desperate but she had a boyfriend at the time,” said Cuoco, who is married to billionaire heir Karl Cook.

“Finally, we got together and we were angry with each other for two years but then we broke up.

“Luckily Johnny and I did really brilliantly and today we are closer than ever.”

While filming a sex scene after their breakup, Cuoco described how he became suspicious of creator Chuck Lorre.

“It’s a little sensitive for a minute. But I only remember Chuck Lorre – the genius behind our show – I remember weeks where our characters would jump on each other’s bed every second.

“Johnny and I talked about it and I thought [Chuck] doing that on purpose just to make love to us.

“If I was with him, I would ask him because it appeared out of nowhere. Suddenly all these characters are fighting with each other.”
