Huda Kattan, an American blogger based in Dubai, has become a makeup expert with his Huda Beauty brand, ready to enter the perfume industry. After months of waiting and teasing on social networks, the founder of the cosmetics brand announced that he would market his first fragrances, called "Kayali", on November 16.
This Iraqi-born businessman based in Dubai has revealed four fragrances that can be combined as in some Middle Eastern cultures, or can be worn alone. He designed them with the help of Firmenich perfume.
The aroma of "Elixir 11" includes notes of red apple, rose may and jasmine. "Vanilla 28" displays a strong record of vanilla Madagascar. "Citrus 08" is a scent that focuses on citrus notes with bergamot and grapefruit, while the fourth, "Musk 12", complements this collection by combining notes from lotus and jasmine to offer more deep and mysterious scents. Each fragrance will be marketed in a 100ml bottle of Eau de Parfum with a contemporary shape and angle.
"Kayali", which means "my imagination" in Arabic, is the fruit of a collaboration between Huda and his sister Mona, who began talking about this project in July.
The brand, which was launched as a full brand, already has more than 24,000 followers on Instagram and is expected to be successful soon, according to the company's previous employers. Since beauty bloggers created Huda Beauty in 2013, he has become a sect brand, especially with Millennials, now offering a complete range of beauty products for the eyes, lips and face. This will consider today to launch another brand, this time dedicated to skin care.
This success story earned him a place in the latest list of America's Smartest Richest Women. In 2017, the brand will generate a turnover of around 200 million dollars. This figure is expected to increase further this year, because international expansion continues, especially thanks to the strengthening of the team and the appointment of presidents for the United States and Europe.
