Lawyer Payambé López, father of the governor of Tabasco, died


At dawn this Sunday lawyers and notaries died, Payambé López Falconi, father of the governor of Tabasco, Adam Augusto López Hernández and a close friend of the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Through his social network, the state president released the news of the sensitive death, a message accompanied by a photo of his 88-year-old father.

“A few hours ago, my father Payambé López Falconi, Lawyer and Notary, passed away, leaving his example as a generous man and an extraordinary father. Rest in Peace! “Wrote the governor of Tabasco.

López Falconi is one of the notaries who, since the 1980s, has supported the democratic movement he leads. Andrés Manuel López Obrador, whereas in Tabasco it is forbidden to do so and he is one of the closest people to the current President of the Republic.

Who is Payambé López Falconi?

He is the husband of Professor Aurora Hernández de López, with whom he has four children: Adán Augusto, Rosalinda, Silvia and Melchor López Hernández.

He has a law degree since 1959 when he graduated from The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and since 1970 the holder notary number 13 in the municipality of Centro.

On 5 June 2019, Payambé López Falconi was awarded a medal Diego de Godoy for his exemplary career, by Mexican College of Notary.

Politicians offer condolences on social media

The head of CDMX government, Claudia Sheinbaum, expressed her solidarity at the loss of her colleague in Tabasco.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Puebla, Miguel Barbosa, sent his condolences to López Falconi’s relatives.
