Designed for subtle hidden operations, the mechanical keyboard of the Razer BlackWidow Lite has just been released. By using a different approach to the current trend of high-end gaming keyboards, BlackWidow Lite does not have RGB functions. The buttons are indeed backlit, though with one white LED located behind each key cover.
The keyboard is designed for users who combine work with games. While RGB lighting can be fun and attract attention, it can hinder work. According to Razer:
On average, you have to spend 1/3 of your life to work. It's time to reconsider the tools you use every day – meet the Razer BlackWidow Lite. It melds responsively for gaming with softened features to be smooth for the office. The high performance buttons meet the o-ring sound absorbers, and true white LED backlights, keep you focused and productive as you type even late at night.
The new mechanical keyboard uses the Orange Razer switch which responds to the middle response between each key pressed. Because these keyboards try very hard to hide, the switches used are designed not to sound like many other mechanical keyboards we've reviewed before. Each key is valued at more than 80 million keystrokes ensuring that the keyboard will last for years of game abuse.
