QUALA MUD: PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) today reminded road users traveling cross-country, allowed from tomorrow, to continue to adhere to standard operating procedures to curb the spread of Covid-19.
In his statement, PLUS advised the public to wear face masks, practice physical distancing and register using the MySejahtera application when stopping at rest and recreation areas (R&R), lay-bys restaurants and bridges along toll roads.
“PLUS urges road users to be more responsible during this Covid-19 pandemic.
“Before starting the trip, they can check the destination status from the perspective of Covid-19 through the National Security Council (MKN) or the MySejahtera application,” he said in a statement.
PLUS also reminds the public to top up credit on their Touch ‘n Go cards early and ensure a sufficient credit balance before entering the highway for touchless and cashless transactions to avoid the risk of contracting Covid-19.
In making travel easier, people are encouraged to download the PLUS application for various transactions including pre-ordering food in certain R&R areas so as to reduce waiting times and food queues, in addition to ensuring more efficient physical distance. -Named
