This year, three organizations have jointly shared the goal of raising the issue of men to speak more loudly and involve as many citizens as possible in active prostate cancer treatment activities. One of the most important is the end of November event "Uava Runaway" for men not only for men.

Pauls Rakšys, head of the Society for the Treatment of Prostate Cancer, believes that prostate cancer is increasingly diagnosed at a younger age, and therefore not only older men should care about their health.
"Previously, because of this disease, it was necessary to check at the age of 50. Today, research on prostate cancer must be carried out for more than 40 years. Especially for those whose family members have cancer," said P. Rakštys.
Every year in November, various activities are held to encourage men to take PSA tests, not be afraid to talk loudly about prostate cancer, and to urge their health to care for their loved ones.
This year, three organizations – the Prostate Cancer Society, Bearded November and the US fled – have joined forces to raise awareness about the prevention of prostate cancer this year.
The latter has arranged the November bearded event for the fourth year in a row, which began with a friends race and grew into an annual tradition involving more than one hundred participants.
"In March, all marathons end, people move less, so we think it's the right time to grow rabbits and mustaches, and spend the last Sunday of each month running. The main idea is if you can find time to come to the event, you can spend an hour and visit the doctor the next day, "said Simple Bacys, one of the organizers of Usa Running.
Interest in this event develops every year. This year's route is being prepared at the Botanical Garden of Vilnius University, where on November 25. It is estimated that it will attract as many as 500 participants. This initiative was sponsored by pharmaceutical companies Ipsen and Sanofi.
Not only men, but also women and children invited to the "Ufa Running" event. "We are waiting for everyone who can spread the message about prevention of prostate cancer in their family circle. However, women and children can urge their families to do research," Bacys said.
