The “The Verge” site features improved navigation in the Maps service, and benefits from mixing emojis in the Gboard keyboard app, and access to voice access voices, audiobooks for the Google Play app store, and nearby file sharing services.
In the Maps service, Google will add a new tab with the name Go so that users can easily navigate to their favorite places, without having to enter an address every time.
The company has also expanded the emoji blending features available on Gboard from a few hundred to over 14,000. A feature called Emoji Kitchen allows users to double-click emojis to view suggested mixes.
With regard to “voice access”, the navigation feature in the Android system based on voice commands, Voice Access, which was available so far for the Android 11 system, is (now) available globally for all devices running version 6.0 and above.
Google has also made changes that could result in more audiobooks becoming available on the Play Store. The company claims that it has provided a tool for the automatic conversion of books from written to audio to publishers in the United States and United Kingdom.
He stated that the Nearby Share feature will soon support direct sharing of the “Play Store” app with nearby Android users.
In addition to these features, the US technology giant plans to launch Android Auto, a version for cars, in 36 new countries.
