German automotive group Volkswagen plans to market compact electric cars to compete with US electric vehicle manufacturing company Tesla Motors, a DPA news agency said Monday.
DPA shows that this car will cost less than 20,000 Euros and will be the fastest in the world by 2022.
Volkswagen has not commented on this issue.
Herbeth Dyss, head of the Volkswagen Group, has announced earlier that he intends to engage in a competition against Tesla.
