Investigating reported settler attacks in a house outside Mazra 'a al-Qibliya, residents, together with ourselves, were attacked by a settler riding a horse on November 18.
Settlers start by disrupting property and brandishing a gun. Residents responded by throwing stones, when the settlers turned around, fired seven shots for five minutes. My colleagues and I ducked when the last three bullets shot past our heads.
Before the initial attack, we interviewed villagers about an attack on their property, where they described about twelve settlers coming in the middle of the night, armed with rifles, firing shots into the air, while destroying various parts of their property.
Near the house, we found all their water tanks were pierced by puncture marks, the fence around the property was torn from the perimeter, and their television dish was destroyed.
Further on the page were more signs of damage, including burning attempts. One resident showed us a Molotov cocktail made of beer bottles with cloth inside. "He wants to burn his flat," he said, while showing us the front of the bottle: "From Israel. Look. Do you see that? Shandy, Israeli brand beer.
Their property is located less than two kilometers away from two Israeli settlements, and one outpost, including the Kem A erm settlement, where the attackers were located.
