The time of year has come again and the Golden Joystick Awards began in just a few hours after a remarkable year for the gaming industry.

The great and good of the entire trade will attend a fancy party – supported by The Sun – in London on Friday 16 November.

And you can join us for the 36th annual ceremony, with pre-shows starting at 3:00 GMT on the official Twitch channel event.

The Golden Joysticks then starts at 4 pm GMT, organized by comedian Danny Wallace, with 23 awards to be shared in total.

Gamers from all over the world voted in their millions for the past seven weeks, in categories such as the Best Game of the Year.

There will also be winners announced for the Most Wanted Game and PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC Games of the Year.
