Google will combine the Google Play Protect detection system with the scanning engine of each partner to assess the risk of applications applying for publication. In its submission, Google also wrote, "our partners will analyze the application data set and act as a scanner before the application goes live on Play Store. "

ESET was chosen because of its experience in detecting and observing behavior malware on an Android device. In September, the company detected 172 rogue applications in Google's app store with 330 million installations on user devices.

Meanwhile, Lookout offers cloud computing security to prevent fraud attacks (phishing). Then, Zimperium will provide machine learning to identify cellular threats and IoT devices.
