Ander Herrera is not convinced Man City can beat Man United

MANCHESTER, KOMPAS.com – Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera revealed that Manchester City did not necessarily defeat his team. The two Manchesters will clash with strength in the 12th week of the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday (11/11/2018) at 23.30 WIB.

Ander Herrera considers no one can predict the outcome of the Manchester derby.

"It is true that they are favorites because they are in the form of an extraordinary game. However, this club is Manchester United and you do not know what will happen," Herrera said, quoted by BolaSport.com from the Sky Sports page.

Manchester City have not suffered a defeat in the last 11 Premier League matches so far. However, Man United are believed to be able to provide fierce resistance because they were able to win 3-2 over Manchester Blue in the last meeting in the Premier League on 7 April 2018.

Even so, Herrera considered that the Red Devils' last victory over Man City could not be used as an absolute foundation.

"I don't like comparing the past situation. This duel is a match and a new situation, hopefully we can win," said the 29-year-old man.

According to the Transfermarkt note quoted by BolaSport.com, Manchester United have met 76 times with Manchester City since the 1973-1974 season. The Red Devils won 36 wins, lost 20 times, and drew on 20 occasions.
