MUMBAI: At least two people were killed when a fire broke out on the 10th-11th floor of a building in Andheri West, on Tuesday night, an official said.
The fire was reported at around 10:10 a.m. on the middle floor of the 21-storey SRA Kadam Nagar building on Veera Desai Road, said the police.
At least 10 firetenders and other special equipment were rushed to the scene to fight the fire.
The rescue team managed to take two victims who were taken to hospital and declared dead, said BMC Disaster Control.
Details of the cause of the fire and the identity of the victim are not immediately available.
