'Talent must fulfill the opportunity', Gautam Gambhir bats for inclusion of Sanju Samson in Team India | cricket

Pampering Sanju Samson, former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir said "talent must meet immediately." Gambhir's comments came after Samson destroyed the fastest double century by Indians in List A cricket in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Goa.

Samson played a brilliant 212 beat run in the Vijay Hazare group match between Kerala and Goa. His 129-ball innings are filled with four fours and 10 sixes. Its Inning helped Kerala post 377/3 in their 50 overs quota set at the KSCA Cricket (2) Ground.

"Very good, Sanju Samson with one hundred and two times in one domestic match day !!! This man is full of talent and talent must find opportunities immediately, "Gambhir tweeted.

Samson's 212 was the highest score in the Vijay Hazare Trophy by an individual, when he surpassed 202 Karanveer Kaushal who came for Uttarakhand against Sikkim last year.

Before this, the Kerala goalkeeper had not scored a century in the cricket list. He only has half a century under his belt in five matches in the tournament.

During the beats, Samson also broke the record for the fastest double century List by an Indian, when he reached the 200-run mark in 125 balls.

This is not the first time Gambhir has revealed her fondness to Samson. The former Indian opener said that Samson could actually be a substitute for Rishabh Pant in a shorter game format. "Rishabh Pant is always fun but he has to watch his back because my favorite Sanju Samson throws some serious challenges to him," Gambhir said.

"In its current form and expertise of the South Star, @IamSanjuSamson can hit even at the South Pole of the Moon !!! I wonder if they have room in Vikram to bring about the magic of a batsman. It's good to do Sanju by scoring 91 out of 48 balls against South Africa Side, "Gambhir was tweeted after 24-year-old Samson showed a good performance for India A in the unofficial ODI series against South Africa A at Thiruvananthapuram.
