With the highly anticipated PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 just a few weeks before its release, it seems like the right time for Rockstar Games publishers to drop a shiny new trailer that illustrates what we can expect from a port bump in resolution and frame rate.
The trailer, which features a voiceover that moves from the main character Arthur Morgan (voiced by Roger Clark), gives us a good view of the various PC versions in loyalty thanks to its 4K resolution.
These include increased distance of traction (just look at the open plain), better shadows and lighting (don't stare too long at sunset) and other enhancements, including a more realistic texture of fur and grass.
As an added bonus, the trailer can also be seen at silky-smooth 60fps – frame rates not available on consoles, even for Xbox One X and PS4 Pro game players.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Trailer is available to watch on YouTube embed below. However, if for some reason you have difficulty playing 4K / 60fps videos, you can also check it on the Rockstar Games website.
As a bonus for those who pre-purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 on Rockstar Games Launcher before October 22, the publisher offers "two free PC games, free upgrades to the premium edition, bonus game content, and more."
Pre-orders for other storefronts, such as Epic Games Store and Steam, will open on October 23. Red Dead Redemption 2 released on PC on November 5th.
