Chandimal looks to put England in the round at Galle

Galle – Skipper Dinesh Chandimal on Monday said
Sri Lanka spinners are ready to shoot at the first Test fight English in
Galle as the host spied a farewell to Rangana Herath who resigned.

Sri Lanka, which went down to tourists 3-1 in five
one international day and also lost the Twenty20 match once, which was sought
redemption in the Three Tests series begins on Tuesday.

Spinners Dilruwan Perera and Akila Dananjaya are expected
Herath partners on their last international outing on the Galle track
have seen rain ahead of the match.

"When you see the Galle throw, it always rotates
and help spinners, "Chandimal told reporters.

"When we played in Sri Lanka, the spinners took it
cost. Then again, it's all about weather and conditions

But Britain is also ready with their spinning batteries
headed by Moeen Ali. Jack Leach, Joe Denly, and Adil Rashid will also fight
for the place in the starting line up.

Skipper Joe Root also admitted on Monday that the spin would be
"plays a big role" but says it's ready for anything.

"We have just adapted very well, very quickly and
read the situation.

"We have a team that is very balanced with a lot
different choices … From that point of view I feel we will be very well prepared
for any surface thrown at us. "

The match will also be the first test for England since the defender
Alastair Cook hung his bat in September after the home side won 4-1
Drubbing of India.

"This will be my first Test match without playing
Alastair. This is a big loss in terms of experience and everything he brings
squad and team, "Root said.

"Of course we miss him. But this is a good opportunity
for others to make it their own place, stand up and do something special
for England. "

Keaton Jennings is expected to open with Rory Burns,
which was set for Uji's debut as a substitute for Cook.

But the spotlight at Galle remains on Herat who departs,
the spinner of the left arm is the most successful in history, when he was looking for a fairy tale

Herath made his Galle debut in 1999, got a hat-trick
there in 2016 and is one of the scalp far from the century wickets at
a beautiful place.

Only two other bowler players have achieved this achievement – their compatriots
Muttiah Muralitharan in Galle, Kandy and SSC Colombo, and James Paceman United Kingdom
Anderson in the house of God.

The 40-year-old Herath has taken 430 wickets in 92 tests and
is one of the top 10 wickets in a five-day history.

"We have a number of things under our arms (for the Herath)
don't want to reveal everything because we want him to be surprised, "said

"The main thing is, if we can win this game and
series, it will be a very good farewell for him. That's the team
stay tuned, "he said.

Root said his team also wanted to do something for Herath as
he praised his "phenomenal longevity" in a career spanning 19 years.

But Root warned his players not to be affected by it

"I am very aware of how skilled he is and how he will try
and get us out, "Root said.

"Of course there will be a lot of noise around it and that
became his last match.

"But we have to play 11 Sri Lankan players who can
all affect the game together and respect must be there for the whole
