Comparing the specs of the Radeon RX 5700 and the RTX 2060 Super, on paper the shader's performance of the former seems to be slightly more than the latter. Both the GPUs share the same memory size and standard, with a bandwidth of up to 448Gbps. AMD's Navi GPUs are fabbed on TSMC's 7nm node while the Turing GPUs leverage the older 12nm process. Despite that, however, the 2060 Super has a rated TDP slightly lower than the RX 5700.

Looking at the gaming performance, both the cards perform roughly on par with each other, making it even harder to choose between the two. So what do you do? Let's have a look at the prices:

The lowest-priced GeForce RTX 2060 costs Rs. 32,199 for the Innod3D model. It comes with a dual-fan heatsink and slightly overclocked core clocks. Other than that, you can get three years of warranty and of course hardware-level support for ray-tracing. This time around for the game bundle, you will receive a code for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which is also one of the newest titles to support RTX.

The Radeon RX 5700 is slightly cheaper at Rs. 31,399 (the reference model) and comes with Borderlands 3, Ghost Recon Breakpoint or Gears V bundled as well as the Xbox Game Pass for 3 three months. There are a few things to consider here. The RX 5700 has slightly better raster performance, is a tad bit cheaper and has sufficient overclocking potential, given that the course is willing to test the limits of the reference cooler. It boils down to this: Do you want to try out ray-tracing: If yes, then the RTX 2060 Super is the answer but if you're not really buying into the ray-tracing hype, then the RX 5700 is undoubtedly the right choice. Cheers!
