The Australian captain, Meg Lanning, has to part with 20 percent of the cost of his match, while the rest of his team-mates are fined 10 percent due to excessive overrate in the T20 Women's World group stage match against India in Guyana.

The allegations were leveled by on-field referee Gregory Brathwaite and Wayne Knights, third referee Sue Redfern and fourth referee Shaun George.

In a game that decides who takes place in the top two Group B, Australia is asked to bowl first by India, and is found guilty of being one of the excesses within the specified time after considering all benefits.

The result of this is the fine imposed by Richie Richardson, the referee of the ICC match.

If Australia repeats this violation within the next 12 months, Lanning will be subject to a one-match suspension.
