Dr Dena Grayson said there was now concern the disease could affect men’s ability to perform in the bedroom even after they recovered.
‘This is something of great concern – [it’s] not only can this virus kill you but can actually cause long-term, lifelong and potentially long-term complications, ” he added.
Although most people appear to be recovering from COVID-19, he said they expect to see more ‘long-term negative consequences of infection’, with time, including neurological complications.
