Further investigations in Munich have revealed that the 36-year-old man was alleged to have killed six senior citizens. Since February he has been sitting in pre-trial detention, as announced by police and prosecutors on Tuesday in Munich.
Lethal insulin dose
The man gave a lethal dose of insulin to his victims. He is said to have committed three murders in Bavaria and respectively in Baden-Württemberg, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony. In the district of Tuttlingen it was reportedly killed in late July 2017, an 88-year-old and robbed. This can confirm the researchers now.
In the spring, in four cases in the German district, including Tuttlingen, extensive public searches were conducted to find out whether the suspects were active in the districts with suspicious cases. Also in the two districts of Ravensburg and Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, in Kassel, in the district of Verden (Lower Saxony), in the Bavarian district of Erlangen-Höchstadt and in the Neuwied (Rhineland-Palatinate) district, similar cases were used to find evidence.
Three cases of dangerous bodily injury
The researchers also accused men of three attempted murders, including a 90-year-old man in the Esslingen district in 2017. Subsequently, he was accused of three dangerous bodily injuries – this is also an 82-year-old boy in the Rems-Murr-Kreis who had also been affected robbed. Some other clients are said to have robbed suspects too.
