Richard Kingston, the Black Stars goalkeeping coach has haunted the Ghanaian people about the Ayew brothers, an incoming call to the senior national team, forcing their invitation to players to the Black Stars has nothing to do with pressure on technical handlers as suggested by Ghanaians on their list .
The Swansea City are absent for national team duty by Coach Kwesi Appiah after being last shown in the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo in September last year in Kumasi.
However, Ayews is now back in the fold of the team because of their impressive performance in the ongoing campaign at various clubs.
Despite the criticism, the former Blackpool striker feels the duo are now worthy of being drawn back into the squad and that it has nothing to do with external pressure imposed on them in doing so as acknowledged by some.
"We [Black Stars technical handlers] do not invite Players based on what People Say. We have criteria for inviting players to the National Team and I think this time they are [Jordan and Andre Ayew] "It deserves to receive this call," Kingston told Hello FM based in Kumasi
"I'm happy Dede and Jordan returned to the Black Stars and I personally believe they deserve to be in the National Team and I hope they put on a good performance to improve the team's image."
Ghana will face Ethiopia in the 2019 African Cup qualifier at Adisa Ababa later this month.
