With the onset of winter weakened immunity of young people due to cold weather, which exposes them to cold sores and colds and flu, and mothers worry a lot.
Dr. Ayman Awad, a pediatrician and neonatologist, said proper nutrition, child supplementation, personal hygiene and home ventilation are the most important rules for protecting children from infectious diseases in winter. There are four drinks that must be given to children every day at winter to strengthen their immunity:
1 cup of warm water and lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey, every day to remove toxins and strengthen the immune system.
2 cups of honey milk, for breakfast and dinner to extend body protein, calcium and minerals that strengthen the body's immunity and help to grow healthy.
3 – Warm drinks, such as: mint, aniseed, tilio, and karawiya, which are needed in the winter to warm up and cleanse the respiratory system, and strengthen immunity, are better for children immediately before going to bed, or between meals.
4 – natural juice produced at home with a little sugar, providing children with essential nutrients and energy needed, it's best to provide a glass of juice per child every day at all times of the day.
