PHOTOGALLERY / As the first Czech holder to be awarded the Blues Alive International Music Festival, twenty-three years has ended at Sumperk in recent years, the prestigious prestigious world award entitled Keeping the Blues Alive Award for 2019.
Prizes are awarded by the American Blues Foundation, which seeks to respect, save and promote the blues.

"Keep the Blues Alive Award is the culmination of what the blues can do for the noun & # 39; this is a similar Blues Music Award for musicians, and among the past holders is the festival, publisher, producer and the world's leading media, and journalists, "added dramaturg Ondřej Bezr.
The award ceremony will be held in Memphis on January 25, 2019 at the 35th annual International Blues Challenge. The Keeping The Blues Alive Award, for example, has received the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Beale Street Music Festival, Living Blues Magazine and Rolling Stone, Tom Hambridge and Jim Gaines, or Stony Plain and Alligator Records.
The Blues Alive International Festival in Šumperk is the largest Central European show of this genre. The festival began in 1996. It also coordinated the first Buddy Guy concert in 2018 in Prague.
This twenty-three edition of the Shumper Show lasts from November 15 to 17.
The main attraction is American singer-songwriter Joan Osborne with Bob Dylan, famous American guitarist Ana Popovic, American guitarist and Grammy winner Joe Louis Walker, last year's Grammy holder, Fantastic Negrito blueprint, Baptist pastor and social activist Rev. Seku, Tamikrest, Tuareg from Mali, American blues-rock guitarist Rick Derringer, and North Mississippi Blues Project, which consists of musicians from the last American region where the blues still live in their original historical style.
