The National Environmental Permit Authority (ANLA) delivered the first license for wind energy generation to the project & # 39; Alpha Wind Generation & # 39; which will be developed at La Guajira.
Rodrigo Suárez Castaño, director of ANLA, stressed that the project would operate with 65 wind turbines or turbines and electric substations that will collect energy from wind farms and then connect to the national transmission system.
The ANLA Director stated that the license was delivered with indigenous peoples support which is in the village of Limoncito in the municipality of Maicao.
This is the first wind energy project in which ANLA participates and, currently, processes other environmental license applications for two wind and energy projects three solar energy.
