Three Chileans compete to be the best in their position in Argentine football



2018 is the year with the significant presence of Chile in Argentine football. And beyond the many national players who play in the trans-Andean league, there are some who reach extraordinary levels and the proof of this is that they compete to be the best in their respective positions.

In an open poll conducted by TyC Sports, where the best of the 2018 season was highlighted in the Argentine Superliga, the goalkeeper appeared Gabriel Arias (Race Club), left back Alfonso Parot (Rosario Central) and central midfielder Marcelo Díaz (Race Club).

Arias competed as the best goalkeeper with Franco Armani (River Plate), Esteban Andrada (Boca Juniors), Martin Campaña (Independiente) and Jeremías Ledesma (Rosario Central).

Parot, in the best lateral category, appears with Renzo Saravia (Racing), Gonzalo Montiel (River Plate), Fabricio Bustos (Independent) and Leonardo Godoy (Talleres de Cordoba).

Meanwhile, Diaz competed as the best defensive midfielder. Leonardo Ponzio (River Plate), Wilmar Barrios (Boca Juniors), Gastón Giménez (Vélez Sarfield) and Leonardo Gil (Rosario Central) are other candidates.
