National coach Víctor Rivero Officially presented on Thursday as Cobreloa's new technical director, with a unique purpose: back to football in the First Division.
The former Union La Calera coach was very enthusiastic about the option to lead Loinos and say that at a press conference that "we came up with maximum motivation, it was not a setback to direct Cobreloa at the Primera B. Cobreloa was a big team that needed to immediately return to the Main Division."
"Cobreloa is even local in Santiago, it moves many people throughout Chile, we hope that all those who are decided support the club"added the person who also managed to direct San Luis de Quillota, Everton and Rangers.
In his mission, Rivero said that "before taking over, the intention to assume here was for a long time, but it was not given for football. Today is a possibility and we want to reach promotion to the First Division"
"We saw the club experience before (in First B). This is a big club, but has not followed his name. We have to work and sacrifice, and even though we have achieved promotion, there are only two places for First A"he said.
Finally, Rivero said that "It will be a championship where regularity will be needed, we must propose a local visit, but always with balance, which will make us some goals. Good possibility to form a complete team"
