Microsoft is in the process of redesigning its office in Redmond, Washington, and has hired the Blockworks company to build interactive mock-ups from its new campus through Minecraft. A video published by the US network CNBC shows the process behind the development of future office recreation:
The new Microsoft office in Redmond will spread over an area of more than 200 hectares. They will consist of a set of more than 100 buildings, which include shops and cafeterias. There will also be a cricket, soccer and tennis court. The construction is scheduled to end in 2022.
It should be noted that this is not the first time Blockworks has used the Mojang game to build a building model. The company has also offered its services to conduct similar simulations for Disney, Warner Bros., and the London Museum.
