Mario Rozas defines the Carabineros High Command: Six officers go up to the inspector general and five go to retirement

It is worth remembering that along with the controversial departure of Hermes Soto from the directorate general of the Carabineros, 10 generals were called to retreat, so the configuration of the new High Command was a pending task.

Less than a week after Mario Rozas served as Director General of Carabineros, a new payroll with the agency's High Command for 2019 was announced on Thursday.

In that sense, six new general inspectors were assumed. These are: General Diego Olate Pinares, General Ricardo Yáñez Reveco, General Mauricio González Marín, General Jorge Valenzuela Hernández, General Gonzalo del Alcázar Sandoval and General Mauricio Rodríguez Rodríguez.

In addition, five other generals retired: General Rodrigo Herrera Torres, General Nelson Valenzuela Ruz, General Ricardo Contreras Faúndez, General Juan Badilla Alister and General Miguel Jara Quezada.

On the other hand, 19 other officials rose from the colonel to general.
