He is remembered for his short election time


Former deputy Rosa González Román died at the age of 76 on Monday because of health problems. Former MPs operated on five occasions for brain aneurysms, and since 2014 he has lived in a residence for parents in Providencia.

The former ruler was known for his short 1997 election campaign, which lasted a while and where he only managed to say "Rosa de Aric". On that occasion, he was selected as independent with 26.20% of the votes. In 2001 he was re-elected, this time as a representative of UDI, until 2006.

His body was hidden in the Las Nieves Parish, located in the Cuarto Centenario 1720, in Las Condes. Later they will be transferred to Arica.
