Aguas Cordillera announced an emergency cut for this Tuesday

Cordillera waters reported that they crippled the supply of the drinking water production plant from the Mapocho river because the detection of foreign matter and origin is not determined in river water.

Because of this situation the company will make Emergency cuts in several commune sectors of Las Condes, Vitacura and Lo Barnechea to Aguas Cordillera customers starting at 4:00 p.m. today.

The company highlights that water available in the network is not affected by this event and is truly safe for human consumption.

It is recommended to collect 15 liters of water per person to meet basic needs for those in the affected boundary, which according to the company will be published in www.aguasandinas.cl.

Aguas Cordillera added that they had reported the situation to the authorities and denounced the facts to the Police Investigation to help identify those responsible.
