UFC 232 live and direct match results



INGLEWOOD, Calif. – MMAjunkie is present and reports directly from the UFC 232 event today, and you can join us for live play-by-play matches and official results starting at 6:15 a.m. ET (15:15 PT.).

The event took place at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The main card airs on the pay-per-view along with the prelims on the FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

In the main event, former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones (22-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) met Alexander Gustafsson (18-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) in the rematch. The winner will be a new 205 pound title. Jones won the first fight more than five years ago with a unanimous decision.

In additional features, women's featherweight champion Cris Cyborg (20-1 MMA, 5-0 UFC) faces bantam class champion Amanda Nunes (16-4 MMA, 9-1 UFC) in a fighting contest. Nunes moved up 10 pounds in an effort to become a double champion.

Round 1 – Start quickly with punches and kicks that are traded immediately at the start. Kelleher cut his legs as he turned. He landed in the groin, but we continued. Jackson landed with a kick to the body in return. Kelleher tried to drive forward for removal, but he was full. Jackson marked him with a big elbow at the top and sent him backwards. Jackson punched when Kelleher covered up. The referee paid close attention. The punch wasn't clean, so Jackson turned to D & Arce choked. It's tight, and Jackson keeps pressing. Hold it tight, and Kelleher must knock.

Round 1 – Millender knocks the jab and then kicks the leg. Front kick misses in the middle. Bahadurzada advanced with a missed shot. Millender is relaxed while holding the center. Millender still kicked the front leg, cutting his knee. Bahadurzada kicked into the body and missed a big overhand. Millender used his reach well, distancing Bahadurzada. Hard-to-foot kick for Millender. A high spinning kick partially landed for Millender, but Bahadurzada shook it. Bahadurzada struck with a punch, but Millender easily pulled away. Millender smiled when he stabbed, looking very relaxed. Bahadurzada tried to increase the pressure, launching a big blow which mostly failed. Skewer Millender continues to erode. Bahadurzada did not slip in his left hand. One more minute. High kick Millender is blocked. Bahadurzada shook his head after he was marked with a pair of punctures. Technical work for Millender, and MMAjunkie gave him the first round, 10-9.

Round 2 – Bahadurzada is aggressive early. He wants a commotion. Millender returns to reach and launches jab. Every punch Bahadurzada throws is with strength, but the hook is short. Bahadurzada started kicking his legs a little. The blow was dangerous, but Millender managed the distance well. Bahadurzada does have great rights. Millender with jumping knees. The blow landed inside. He lights up now. Bahadurzada's nose was covered in blood. They grabbed, and Millender briefly held Thai plums before withdrawing. Bahadurzada throws a straight punch now, and he is successful. However, Millender continued to hit sharply. The spinning elbow missed Millender, and it allowed Bahadurzada to reach his body and drop the action on the floor, immediately taking the top position. Millender works from half a guard. He landed several knees to his body. Don't do a ton with the current position, because Millender goes to great lengths under. Bahadurzada did not get room to go up and attack, and he finished the round in the top position. Closed, but MMAjunkie gave awards for late work for Bahadurzada, 10-9.

Round 3 – Millers kick back legs to open, trying to keep their distance. Bahadurzada wants a fight. High action to start the third before they are satisfied and look like they will attack. Millender landed a clean left wing. Bahadurzada landed in reply. Bahadurzada lost a brief spokesman. When you start again, he drags away. Millender shot back and waved it. High kick landed. Bahadurzada was injured, but he would not leave. Millender with a correct and clean counter. He teeed off. Bahadurzada tried to shoot, but Millender easily put it in. A cleaner shot at the foot. This is the target for training now. Bahadurzada shot in the leg. Millender filled it, but Bahadurzada came to power through and briefly transitioned up. Brave thing. Millender immediately knelt down. Bahadurzada turned back. Millender was patient but crawled to his feet. Bahadurzada immediately dragged him down again. Millender fought quickly at his feet. They fight in victory. Millender can't get free. He fought and finally broke the grip with 90 seconds left. At the range, Millender is deadly. The ground is clean. Right hand. Bahadurzada was battered, but he landed with his big right hand. Bahadurzada is pushing for action now, but Millender remains and moves. Bahadurzada shot inside, but Millender grinded through a reversal and ended at the top. He stays there until the bell. Brave things from Bahadurzada, but MMAjunkie gave Millender a round, 10-9, and awarded him a 29-28 fight.

Leg 1 – Kick is immediately traded. Punch followed. Quick step. Lewis got the right, and the Hall had to retreat and rearrange. Lewis will go after him. He pushed forward with a punch and got to the clinic, driving with a few knees. Hall withdrew and rearranged in the range. Pace finally calmed down a little. Hall failed to do a spinning kick. Lewis landed his right hand on it. Low kicks are traded. Lewis tried to win, but Hall withdrew. Lewis's right hand advanced with strength, but he had not landed cleanly. Hall uses a low kick to slow down the progress of his opponent. Hall sneaks up. Lewis's high kick missed from above. Hall caught the front kick but couldn't do anything with him. Lewis entered tight and landed his elbows on the last minute. He missed a high kick. Lewis landed his right hand. The round ends at the foot, and MMAjunkie gives it to Lewis, 10-9.

Leg 2 – Lewis comes out quickly and kicks at the top. Hall shot back with a punch. Start very fast again. Hall kicked hard on the foot and missed a high spinning kick. Lewis controls the center. He faked his knees and partially kicked high. Hall seemed unaffected. Hall now cut a little foot. He seems to touch faster, through Lewis throwing everything with strength. Lewis was able to advance and hold on to victory. He pushed the action into the cage and landed a few knees behind his legs. Hall tried to break his grip. Lewis stepped on his foot a little. Hall finally turned inside, but they struggled to get a tight position. Referee Marc Goddard called for action. Hall finally broke his grip, and they reset, with Lewis immediately releasing a high kick which was blocked. Hall tried to commit a violation. He landed a good spinning kick to the body. Tanah Jab. He asks Lewis to change it and trade. MMAjunkie gives the second for Lewis, 10-9.

Round 3 – Lewis comes out quickly, and they don't waste time starting. Hall complained of his gaze after several Lewis blows, but Goddard told them to continue fighting and said the hand was closed. Lewis pressed into reaching. Deadlock there, so Lewis releases and lands fast. Hall looks frustrated. He pushed forward, and he let go of the big counter right hand. Lewis backed away, and this fight ended. Finish brutally.

Round 1 – Wood misses an early low kick. Ewell stabbed into the body and then kicked his leg. The two men were very light on their feet earlier. Wood holds the center. Ewell jumped forward with a missed knee. Wood is the busiest man, and he can land and send Ewell back down. Wood jumps on top, but Ewell fights the underhooks and gets back up. He landed on the clean left, but Wood also replied. Left hand landed for Ewell. Wood with rights. Fast hands, and he stalks. Wood pumped his right hand and found the house. Ewell landed with his left hand. He is in and out of range. Wood low kick trip Ewell briefly. Wood with another low kick. Punch behind it. The two men found their point, but Wood seemed better in exchange. Wood pushes in. They fought there to get a position. The round ends there, and MMAjunkie is leaning towards Wood, 10-9.

Round 2 – Ewell is more aggressive to start, and it pays off. He landed a few clean blows, but Wood could slip under one of them and reach, stumbling into the floor. Ewell pulled the guard when they fell. Ewell tied everything quite well below him, but Wood finally made a posture and landed a few punches. Ewell briefly controls the wrist, but pulls it out and starts looking for the hammer. Ewell was active from his back, and he was once again seen isolating his left arm, but Wood felt it and pulled it before turning back to his punch from the top position. Wood did not do a conussive blow, but he worked well from above. The crowd was increasingly agitated, and so Wood positioned and threw a big punch at the body. Ewell's corner asked him to stand up, but he could not find enough space. He got his back briefly to the fence, but Wood pulled it back and pushed a big blow to the body. The wood ends above, and MMAjunkie gives him a round, 10-9.

Round 3 – Ewell needs to make things happen. He was trying to do something, but Wood was able to slip an attack and stay right in front of his opponent. Wood goes inside and wraps his body, looking for takedown. Ewell collapsed and tried to stay upright, but Wood persisted and got the trip he was hunting for. Ewell scrambled quickly to guard, but once again he was on his back. Crowd didn't like it, but Wood was happy to be in a dominant position. Boos from the crowd. Wood is clearly in control, and he punches whenever he can, but the crowd is looking for more action. Ewell was still looking for an option from his back, but that didn't really exist. Ewell tried to get up, but Wood got his back. Choke comes in. Ewell struggled and tried to work freely, but his grip was tight. The wood rolled with his opponent and kept pressing, and Ewell had to knock.

Round 1 – Penn is aggressive to open, push forward and change levels. He punched the way in, and Hall defended against the fence. There is nothing there, and Hall can be free. Hall slipped a kick, and Penn stood on it, kicking his leg. Hall tried to attack the foot from his back. He is looking for upkicks too. Penn is careful when he tries to move forward. Hall could reach his ankle, but there was nothing there. Crowd boos, and the referee called for a restart on the feet. Penn held the center, and he pulled away from several high kicks. The hall slipped down and drove on feet with beautiful scrolls. A smooth transition caught the foot, and he pushed the Hall to the floor. Immediately heel hooks, and Penn knocks. Wow.

Round 1 – Yan walks forward but eats his left hand above. Yan answered with a high kick which partially landed. Yan walked forward, but Silva de Andrade was satisfied to retreat and fire a large bomb to start. Yan with a blocked spinning punch. Yan caught the kick and brought Silva de Andrade to the floor. Yan wanted to punch, but Silva de Andrade expertly slipped back to his feet. Yan landed two punches. He scored with a low kick, too. Silva de Andrade with a beautiful punch. Yan remained an aggressor, but Silva de Andrade responded with some success. Yan with other beautiful combinations. Silva de Andrade failed to make a spinning kick. Yan missed a high kick from above. He landed a clean right hand, and Silva de Andrade was injured. Another country, but Silva de Andrade escaped and recovered. Late removal from Yan. He landed a few punches in front of the bell. MMAjunkie gave it to Yan, 10-9.

Round 2 – Yan again the man walked forward. Silva de Andrade returned with strength, but Yan got the best from the stock. The blow landed cleanly for Yan. His head movements made him a difficult target to fight. They got up and fought from there. Silva de Andrade put his hand down so he was not pinched. Yan searched for the guillotine. There was some pressure, and Silva de Andrade had to move to adjust. He rolled to the floor. Yan was briefly controlled by the side before Silva de Andrade turned half-guard. Silva de Andrade turned and looked for opportunities to rise. Yan gave him space to move but also remained tight in his body. Yan only smothered his position. Silva de Andrade tried to grab his foot, but Yan spun past him and returned to the top position. Blows and elbows come from above. Yan is around him. Observe in the last seconds. Silva de Andrade made it to the bell, but he was battered. MMAjunkie gave it to Yan, 10-8.

Round 1 – Zingano is well prepared outside to start. He rushed in and kicked his legs, then shot back. The second kick landed. Zingano ran fast, refusing to stay in one place Anderson fired a straight shot, and a high kick grazed his face. Zingano immediately turned around and covered his face. It looks like the finger goes into the eye. Anderson wasn't sure what to do. He tried to attack, but referee Marc Goddard immediately waved a battle with Zingano who was unable to open his eyes and survive.

Round 1 – Harris opens with a big kick that fails. The two men faked a deposit and searched for a gap. Harris pushed forward into the win, and Arlovski returned to the cage before turning and turning. Harris spins, too, and breaks and resets. Low kick from Arlovski. Harris missed a big kick. Arlovski drives forward with the right but eats the table on the left. Harris landed his other right hand shortly after. Return to the clinic, but there is nothing there. Arlovski found some violations, but Harris swung back with strength. Missing heel kick for Arlovski. He flirts with a big blow, but Harris continues to find a home for his counter. Harris seemed to be content to fight now, and it worked, although he allowed Arlovski to attack. Low kick for Arlovski. The round ends at the foot, and MMAjunkie is leaning towards Harris, 10-9.

Round 2 – Arlovski rushes forward with his right hand and complains of eye prick. Referee Mike Beltran tells them to fight. On the next exchange, he complained again, and this time we got a stop. Arlovski was not happy, but he got a break and Harris got a warning. Harris apologized, and we started again. A side kick for Arlovski and then a top blow. Harris drove under his opponent's right hand and took it to the floor. Arlovski quickly turned and knelt. Arlovski was a little hesitant when he tried to take a picture. Harris waited to reply. The crowd was nervous when Arlovski failed to take a high kick. Right hand traded. Land left big for Harris. Arlovski is completely blocked. Arlovski defended the takedown and landed his right hand. Harris kicked his body and landed right above. Arlovski answered correctly and inserted the counter. Arlovski landed a kick to the body. Round tip on the foot. This is another close one. MMAjunkie leaning towards Harris 10-9.

Round 3 – Arlovski needs to do something. Unfortunately for him, the Harris counter made it difficult. Harris landed on the big left. Arlovski is stunned, but he fights. Harris tried a little pressing. Harris with the rights above. Arlovski seemed to fade a little, and Harris got a second wind. Arlovski couldn't commit a real offense, and Harris didn't seem to care much about anything that was thrown. Arlovski held for a while, but it was not there. Arlovski landed correctly, but Harris was not affected. Arlovski hurried but could not land anything. Crowd of ridicule lack of action. Arlovski landed with his right hand. Harris blocked the others. Only continuous notes come from Arlovski. He kicked his leg. Round tip on the foot. MMAjunkie gave the final round for Arlovski, 10-9, but gave a struggle for Harris 29-28.

Round 1 – Mendes takes center and looks forward. Volkanovski moves well outside, shifting from side to side. Volkanovski with a quick punch that produces a score. The two men kicked their legs slightly. Volkanovski now turns to the center and cuts the cage. He fired a few blows which Mendes slipped and fled back to the center. Mendes landed his right hand in confusion. Volkanovski punched in, but Mendes pushed it. They started firing bombs at the feet. The two men landed a big blow, and Mendes retreated to rearrange. Mendes the drive forward with a low kick but cannot secure takedown. Volkanovski score with a pair of punches. Other scores. Volkanovski landed in the right hand. Mendes swung backwards, but Volkanovski called now. Mendes changes the level and score of deletion. Volkanovski quickly went to a sitting and crawling position. The two men fired thick foam. Volkanovski seems to touch faster and is an aggressor. A good round, and MMAjunkie bowed towards Volkanovski, 10-9.

Round 2 – Volkanovski advanced. He kicked his leg. Mendes appeared with flying knees, and Volkanovski smiled again. A good exchange tight. Mendes Land is really big. Volkanovski is injured. Mendes sees it, and he will kill. Land left big. Volkanovski shows a good chin, and he shoots back too. Mendes must be calm. Volkanovski landed correctly and looked like Mendes bending for a moment. Volkanovski found some success on foot, and Mendes wisely turned away from the takedown. He got it, but Volkanovski quickly stood back up. Volkanovski landed several punches. Mendes' right eye shows some wear. The two men are now destroyed. Mendes with another takedown. Volkanovski tried quickly for Esacpe, but Mendes took his back. Volkanovski will not have it, spin and roll and get up. The two men rolled around. This is amazing. Volkanovski landed on the big right, and Mendes was stunned. Other countries, and Mendes collapsed. Volkanovski feels the moment and releases a big blow, and this fight ends. Unreliable battle.

Round 1 – Anderson outside and pumping a punch. Latifi with his tall hands, feel the reach. Latifi held up his big right hand and then won a little when Anderson moved his face to push it. Latifi with a strong low kick. Other scores. Anderson shot one of his possessions. Anderson missed the jumping knee. Latifi took the opportunity to grab his foot, looking for takedown, even though it didn't come. Clash of attacks saw Anderson lose a spokesman. Latifi tried to grab his head, but Anderson pulled free, and we paused. Latifi grabbed his head again. Not there, but he landed two nice blows when they broke. Anderson flicked his finger. Latifi blocked a high kick and once again attacked the foot. Latifi did a great job in and out of Anderson's reach. Latifi slipped after firing a big blow, but Anderson couldn't use it. Anderson just missed a series of hooks. Ended round, and MMAjunkie leaned towards Latifi, 10-9.

Round 2 – Anderson came out quickly and set in front of his opponent. Low kick score. Anderson seems more urgent to start, and he blows. He landed and cut and then defended Latifi's destruction effort. Anderson has an underhook and is lying well on the fence. Latifi tried to adjust the attack but could not stop it. Anderson shot inside, but there was nothing there. Anderson's steps began to help him here, with Latifi seemingly slow. Latifi looked for deletion, but it wasn't there. Anderson pushed him aside and then retaliated with an attack. Latifi exploded with a heavy blow, but he failed and took a big breath. He is tired. Anderson lifted him apart, but he was still careful not to be too committed. They succeeded, but Latifi did not have the explosive power to get dismissal. Latifi does have great rights, which he swings and forgets. The round ends at the foot, and MMAjunkie gives it to Anderson, 10-9.

Round 3 – Anderson immediately tells the center. He kicked high, then to the body. Latifi panted, looking for the right moment to explode with a powerful shot. Anderson scores correctly and then slips the hook in response. Anderson hit and missed, and Latifi tried to wrap his body but couldn't. Latifi does get a good hook, and he is still dangerous. He is tired but still wants to end the fight. Anderson moved well and tried to keep stabbing from a distance. Anderson the aggressor. Corner wants him to stay busy. Latifi with a surprisingly high spinning shot that partially landed, but Anderson pushed it. Anderson just outperformed his opponent. The ground is clean. Latifi tried again with a bomb, but he could not land clean. MMAjunkie gave the final round to Anderson, 10-9, giving him a 29-28 fight.

Round 1 – Chiesa was seen moving forward, but Condit was there to reply with a quick hit and kick. Chiesa can move forward and reach, and she struggles to travel. Condit defends well to start, but Chiesa continues to work on it and makes the fight to the floor. Condit tries to escape, and Chiesa takes it back. However, the Condit continues to spin and roll over and is able to escape to the feet. Still, Chiesa was there, refusing to back down when she held the key. It paid off, and he could print another takedown. Half-guard paced the Condit, though he was able to scramble into a full guard. Chiesa looked for posture and blows, and she found several opportunities. Still, Condit survives well from his back. Condit produces armbar quickly, and is there. Fantastic steps, and Chiesa is in defense. Briefly looks bad, but interesting Chiesa is free. They move back to the feet, but Chiesa no longer offers space and gets a wipe. Condit scrambles and works to attack the right foot. Chiesa can't get it for free, and they trade punches and elbows from that position. A wild fight to close a good round. MMAjunkie leaning towards Chiesa, 10-9.

Round 2 – Blows are traded on the feet, and Chiesa gets the best before shooting in and once again brings the condit to the floor. Chiesa isolated his left arm and started working on the kimura. Condit tries to use the fence for defense, but Chiesa pulls it free and torque the arm. That's behind. Chiesa with half a high guard, and his grip broke.
