Two pedestrians were killed after being hit by a vehicle northwest of the city on Monday.
The incident occurred around 11:30 am at the intersection of John Laurie Boulevard and Hawkwood Drive N.W.
A woman died at the scene, while another man was taken to the Foothills hospital in a life-threatening condition, according to the EMS. He later died of his injuries in a hospital, said Calgary police.
The man is in his 50s, according to EMS. Police said the woman was also middle-aged.
There is no further information about the patient's identity that has been released.
Police said Tuesday morning that the collision was still under investigation.
