TD Bank Group (TD) has announced the launch of a new digital mortgage application, which it calls "integrated digital solutions created to make the process of buying a home easier and more convenient for customers."
According to TD, Canadians can use digital mortgage applications from any device, while features include 24/7 access, save and resume, status tracking, and document upload.
"We continue to build solutions that provide a personal and connected experience in the home buying process," said Pat Giles, Vice President, Real Estate Secured Lending on TD, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. "Buying a home is a huge financial milestone for Canadians, and our goal is to make the process easier and more convenient to make home ownership dreamed up come true."
Those who apply for digital mortgages must have information and documents ready about their jobs, income, assets, liabilities and new homes.
New digital mortgage applications add bank digital tools, including TD Digital Mortgage Pre-Approval and TD Mortgage Affordability Calculator.
Earlier this month, TD Canada's iOS application launched ‘TD Clari’, a new digital assistant to the bank's chatbot.
